Importance of Food

Currently, in the scientific literature, the research of several scientists use the terms: ' self-sufficiency ', ' sustainability ', ' economic safety ' that apply to the characteristics of the financial and economic condition of the researched object (country, region, sector of the economy, etc.). These terms are used, and when it comes to food provision.
The term ' food security ' has entered the international traffic in 70-ies of XX century after the grain crisis of 1972/73. (introduced the international food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations-FAO) [1.] (a) in the 90-ies the problem of food security begins to occupy a central place in the politics of many States of the world, since it implies, above all, its own food and using the products of foreign production only in extreme cases.
In studies, Vladimir Mikhailov, E.v. Krasavina, etc. uses the term ' food self-sufficiency "[2], which in our opinion, more suited to the psychological characteristics of personality than economics. According to Vladimir Šabaševa, the application of it to the economy may contribute to its stagnation. The use of such a term, the double meaning [3], really, is hardly appropriate. It is advisable to use the term ' sustainability ', ' food self-sufficiency ', which provides for the maintenance of a certain level of food security, sustainable economic development, safeguarding social and political stability in society.
Socio-economic stability in any country is largely determined by the level and quality of life of the population, the degree of satisfaction of human needs, which are based on needs for food, shelter, rest, comfort environment, health.
With regard to the needs of a purely physiological, their satisfaction with the progress of the production and development of general culture, can take place only qualitative changes in the products, their match [4]. The experience of developed countries, the satisfaction of physiological human needs is very important, but not all, of the determining factor in economic development.
According to UN figures, the number of people suffering from lack of food, has fallen from 920 million in 1980 to 799 million in 2000, with the growth of the world population during these years to 1.6 billion people. The production of meat for the past half-century has grown 5 times. In industrialized countries the per capita today is consumed more than 80 kg per year [6].
The quality of food, its structure and balance directly affect the health of people and represent a ' synthetic indicator of quality of life ' [7]. In accordance with, inter alia, the World Health Organization health means not only physical but also mental, spiritual and social well-being. In the category of health reflect the dialectics of domain-specific material, functional and social system-its quality [7]. V.i.Dal defined as the State of health of the animal (or plant), in which all of life were in perfect order and assume the absence of disease, disease [8]. The health status of the population very accurate indicator of socio-economic development of the country as a whole.
In Russia in the last decade has reveal negative values on such key indicators of quality of life, as the birth rate, life expectancy. According to the World Health Organization, the life expectancy of Russia took the 115 in the world (58.6 years). For comparison: in Japan-75 years in Norway-72 years, in Slovenia-69.5 years . In connection with these issues, the quality of life in our country deserves special attention because it involves intense reduction in the number of children in the general population. In 1990, their share of the population (children aged 0 to 15 years old) was 24%, in the year 2000-19%, in the year 2015-15% and in 2050, it is expected to only 12% [10]. Sick mothers give birth to sick children, poor families have poverty. Everything is interconnected. Now 10 percent of pregnant women suffer from anaemia, a deficiency of red blood cells. The main reason is poor nutrition [11]. We have therefore divided opinion E.v. Boytsova, J. Kryanev, m. Kuznetsov, that among the many factors affecting the population, a significant proportion of consumption due to disease are wrong diet
The population of our country each year decreases by 1 million people. On different projections to the year 2050 in the Russian Federation can only stay for about 100 million people. Natural population growth is observed only in 16 regions of the Russian Federation. In 18 regions, the population is reduced each year by more than 1%

Projections of the population of the Russian Federation in the period from 2015 to 205
