Then the officer of the insurance company asked me to phone. I told him that I prefer to speak in Russian, as I'm afraid that I can not understand some special words in the English language. I repeated his version of the collision with the bus, told the Police and the protocol. At the end of the conversation, I was told that the insurance company will send to the house staff, who will assess the damage caused to the car. If we are going to rent a car during repair, the insurance company will pay for it too. I told him that we have a second car, and we do not need to rent another car. On our conversation was over. For me, it was surprising that the insurance company is willing to pay for car repairs, while I was driving, and it's not a real owner. The husband told me that when there are accidents with public transport, it is always to blame for private drivers. It's the law. I could pay the fine, appearing in court, or by sending a check for that amount. I chose the latter option. A few days later we were visited by an appraiser from the insurance company, all inspected, photographed a couple of hours left in his car, where he had a computer and printer, and brought a few pages describing the damage, the cost of replacement parts or labor. Her husband looked at it all, checked and signed the documents. Note that the insurance agent was not interested document from the police.
